What does DoorDash do?

DoorDash is an on-demand platform that connects customers with local restaurants and facilitates food delivery. We help restaurant owners grow their businesses, stay ahead in a changing industry, and make hungry customers happy. 

How does a DoorDash partnership work?

Our partnerships are mutually beneficial! After you complete the signup process, your restaurant will be activated on the DoorDash app and we will start sending you orders. Partnering with DoorDash allows you to have lower delivery fees for your restaurant, which makes ordering from your restaurant cheaper and more appealing to customers. You will also receive publicity and marketing via the DoorDash app. We will also help you improve your operations, since you won’t have to field order phone calls or drivers.

How can DoorDash help my business?

DoorDash will help you increase your brand presence, as well as bring your restaurant to the attention of entirely new customers. DoorDash delivery orders won’t hurt your current customer base; rather, DoorDash will increase that base. DoorDash orders are 92% incremental, which means they are almost all completely new and would not be happening otherwise. Therefore, these orders occur in addition to your current dine in business--which means more customers and more profits!

How do I get on DoorDash?

You can sign up to be on DoorDash here, or by clicking the button at the bottom of this article. The entire sign-up process should take about 10-15 minutes. We ask you to fill in some general information about how to contact you and how many restaurants you have. We also ask for a few specific things like a picture of your menu, photos of your food, order protocol preference, and banking information (so that we can directly deposit your earnings into your account). After you submit this information, you will receive a few emails from our team about how to set up your order protocol and merchant portal. Your restaurant will then go live on DoorDash within a week, and you will start receiving orders!

Why does DoorDash have a commission rate?

DoorDash asks for 30% revenue sharing with each of our partners. This allows us to cover delivery-related expenses like logistics, drivers, and support to keep your delivery business up and running.
