Miami-based food writer
Sara Liss is a Miami-based food and travel writer. Well traveled and trilingual in English, Hebrew, and Farsi, Liss started her career in jour- nalism in the Middle East, where she was a reporter for the Associated Press’s Jerusalem bureau and Time Out Istanbul. She moved to South Florida in 2003 and has contributed to a wide range of publi- cations including Condé Nast Traveler, The Miami Herald, Fodor’s Travel, and MIAMI Modern Luxury. Her first cookbook, Miami Cooks, featuring recipes from the city’s best restau- rants, was released in the fall of 2020. She resides in Surfside near Miami Beach with her husband and three kids.
