Sponsored Listings are ads that are featured in highly visible places in DoorDash, like the homepage and the top of relevant search results. They’ll help your store stand out from the crowd, and unlike ads on other platforms, you’ll only be charged for orders placed through your ad — not for clicks or impressions.

Boost your Sponsored Listing by also running a Promotion. When customers see your ad, a promotion will help entice them to order from you.

Frequently Asked Questions

For Promotions: The free trial credit covers $100 worth of marketing cost per eligible store. Marketing cost includes the $0.99 DoorDash marketing fee plus the customer discount covered by your promotion. Currently, we are offering this free trial on one promotion type: Discount for Customers.

For Sponsored Listings: The free trial covers advertising cost up to $100. For Sponsored Listings you are charged for orders placed within 7 days of customers clicking your ad. Trial credits will be applied for attributed orders until the credit limit is reached, the campaign attribution window (of 7 days) closes, or the campaign ends.

Sponsored Listings appear on the homepage and at the top of relevant DoorDash search results. That means your business will appear ahead of others as potential customers explore options in DoorDash.

No, you don't. Sponsored Listings are designed for busy merchants with varying levels of advertising experience. Visit the Marketing tab in the Merchant Portal, and we’ll guide you through the creation of your ad campaign. Once your ad is live, you’ll easily be able to make adjustments and monitor its performance in the Merchant Portal. 

You can target new, existing, lapsed or all customers in your delivery area by selecting from the following promotions:

Your target audience will see your promotion when they visit your store on DoorDash, as well as in the Offers tab of the DoorDash app—the go-to destination for discovering current promotions and discounts from nearby businesses on DoorDash.

*This is a limited-time offer for select merchants in the US valid until terminated by DoorDash; DoorDash may end this offer at any time. Eligible merchants will see the offer available in the Marketing tab in the DoorDash Merchant Portal. Stores that have previously participated in Sponsored Listings are not eligible for the Sponsored Listings credit, and stores that have previously participated in Promotions are not eligible for the Promotions credit. After the $100 credit is consumed per store, merchants will be automatically charged for the remainder of the campaigns per store. No cash value. Non-transferable.
